Simple Peanut Butter Wraps

We want to share some really basic trail snack ideas with you guys! This recipe is so easy you can have a preschooler help you with it! Peanut butter wraps are a simple, easy to make and pack trail snack. We like to prepare enough peanut butter wraps to ration with our lunches on the trail.

Ingredients

  • Peanut butter (or peanut butter powder if you want to make them on the trail)
  • Tortillas or wrap of your choice
  • Optional: Sometimes I like to add homemade strawberry jam to the wraps for the first day on the trail… watch for my homemade jam recipe coming next month!

Directions

  1. Lay tortilla flat
  2. Spread the peanut butter evenly on the wrap
  3. Roll the tortilla up and put it in a bag, foil, or wax paper for later on!

These will taste best for up to 3 days. After 3 days we notice the peanut butter starts to dry out and doesn’t taste as good but we have eaten them after 3 days… calories are calories when you are hiking, right?

Peace, love, and hike thru life!
